I've not heard of this exhaust before, do you have any links to it?

When you say 'Standard Sports Exhaust' are you referring to the optional PSE Porsche Sports Exhaust, or just the standard exhaust?

I had PSE retro-fitted to my 991.1 3.8 and it sounds great :thumb:

So mine has the PSE.....
The Brooke racing is on Ebay £1800.00,

will probably leave mine as is then.

All the best

I emailed Sharkworks about changing my GTS exhaust system and there manager actually told me people spend thousands in the P world to get there cars sounding how the 991.1 sounds with PSE from factory and cant get close. So to be honest it already sounds brilliant out the box, doesn't really need changing.

If you are a feeling underwhelmed by the noise Steve, it is certainly worth double-checking that it is operating correctly, as they are prone to fail for either electrical and / or mechanical reasons.

That might be the one off my last car.
I sold my 991.1 GTS last year, it had a Brooke race exhaust on it and also came with the std back box which all went with the car.
It's a good system but it is a 'race' exhaust so it is loud when switched on!
I was going to take it off and replace it with the std box but got a good offer on the car as it was, so sold the car instead and bought another Turbo.
The company make these pipes to order and do a lot for Lambo's. I was told that, new it cost £4k!

Fair enough, I totally get the leave original. Seems to be the general advice. Many thanks.
I might however at a later time investigate headers and cats...
Many thanks to All the responses
