The 930 is stunning and the pitlane shot of the 4 GT3RS is impressive (did the blue one go the wrong way?

on the parade lap I was wondering what i let myself in for all the ups/downs, huge gravel traps and uber fast GT3RS's scared the crap out of me

But a few laps in i was having fun, later ade came out with me and gave me a few pointers by the end of the day i was having a whale of a time

I now need a feed, wash and a nap

WHAT A FANTASTIC DAY!!!!!!!! :D :D :D

can anyone tell that I had a good time?

I'm normally not a huge fan of the Brands Indy as I genuinely get dizzy going around and around and around and around... :?
, but the good weather, camaraderie, and selection of JUST PORK was stupendous fun.

I threw on some fresh boots (R888s) today and really gave the PolarExpress a good thrashing. Thankfully, she seemed to open up and give out a lot more power than I had been experiencing recently (I think too many months ploughing motorways under gentle throttle).

Best part of the day was going RS hunting
Scalped a couple 996RSes and at least the 997RS couldn't get away from MANTHEY POWER
for a couple laps! Had too much fun to take any photos, but managed a good vid for a few laps.

Simon, your TT is a torque MONSTER!

Sundeep is such a smooth (and quick) driver around that place, that whilst passengering with him, I almost dozed off!

just spotted this !

and you actually did dose off, you cheeky monkey !

clearly I wasnt trying
well 4th through paddock was all wrong as I now know !

although on that one 4th all the way down paddock and up to druids meant I was carrying serious speed into druids and could brake much later for the 180 back down

so maybe it should be 3rd in paddock then down into 4th to druid and back into 3rd for druids ??? now I am confused

next time I do want to try not braking into surtees, but rather from a slower speed and building up

although Clearways was a real PSM corner with all the marbles, you could just floor it and blast all the way around whereas I wasnt sideways and I wasnt ppushing that hard but the car was sliding and about even in a feathered 3rd !

:D

change from 4th into 3rd just before Paddock, and the next time you have to change into 4th is as you exit Clearways!!! Only 2 gear changes on the entire lap :?
...

Clearways... hmmm... I still haven't figured that one out yet... I think there are about 4 or 5 different apexes through there at least... and Graham Hill bend... another tricky one which I still haven't figured out yet!
