Brake pad warning....odd

Just had the pad warning light on.

Got a torch and they all look like new, at least 7-8mm of pad left.

Now I know sometimes the inners wear more quickly, but I have never heard of this much difference.

Other question is, how do I know if its the front or rears that threw the warning?

If the circuit breaks then the warning goes off (ie wire break or connector debris can trigger too)

The lamp gives no clues to which corner.

Thanks

Wheels off at the weekend for full investigation.

Sometimes water ingress into the wire when washing the car and also when they melt due to track use.
I looped two of mine back on the circuit as they kept illuminating the light whenever I washed the car after I'd melted the sensors on the Nurburgring.

If the warning is permanently lit you can loop the wiring back to the loom and if it clears that's the one, then fit the new sensor there.

My front nearside wear sensor has been playing up for 12 months.
Have replaced it twice and now just ignore it, the wires corrode and snap easily.
Next time I have the wheels off I'll get around to changing it again.
