Bore Scope Results - Bore Scoring?

Running it on top quality 5w40 with regular changes will absolutely reduce the risk of scoring long term though.
Try to avoid short journeys on a cold engine and warm the car up properly before driving it hard. Likewise, cool it down after hard driving before switching the engine off.
 
Just my 2p on using slick50. I used it once on a mk2 golf gti before doing an oil change. Within a few miles the oil warning light was on. Long story short, one of the big end bearings had gone (@60k miles). TSR performance did the rebore for me on the block and were at a loss as to what had happened, considering they had never had a mk2 engine go, even when racing them in standard tune. They thought it was probably the slick50 which had dislodged some muck from somewhere inside the engine and caused the problem. So I would never use it again, just in case!
