I'm slightly embarrassed to ask this but here goes. I have a budget of between £20k - £30k and am debating either a Cayman S or a 997 C2S.1. As this is my first purchase (and having spent god knows how many hours on here researching), I really want an OPC warranty. Clearly my budget would get me a Cayman S from an OPC but would be hard to find a good spec 997. Private purchase is of course an option but before I start that debate with myself again, I really need to drive both vehicles.

It's going to be a few months until I'm ready to purchase but feel like I need to drive these things to make a decision (will be my daily driver by the way). I'm a bit apprehensive booking a test drive with an OPC, as the reality is I will walk away straight after and think about the car I want. Am I being a lettuce? After all, I'm still looking to invest over £20k if I opt for the Cayman S with an OPC. Have also seen this 997...

Is it simply the case of contacting them to request a test drive and simply saying 'thanks, I've still got more to look at so will let you know?' Don't want to be seen as some tyre kicker/time waster!
