Bonnet badge stolen!

Hi all,

I need help and it looks like you are the guys to ask.

I had my bonnet badge stolen. Luckily the only scratch to the paint was under the badge so not too bad. I've got a new replacement part and need to fit it.
The theft left the 2 pins still in the bonnet, they look like nails from the front, i.e. they have a flat head. The fixings are still on the underside. Unfortunately I cant get them off. Has anyone replaced a badge before? and if so how?

Thanks tremendously for your help in advance.

Stu

Hi Stu and welcome to 911uk!

It should be quite easy: the pins are held by small grommets on the underside recess of the bonnet. Try using some nose pliers to grip them from underneath...
