Bolts for Engine mounts

New member

Hello all

I will be changing my engine mounts soon, just getting all the parts together.
I know the bolts are M8 40mm, do I have to use the bolts from Porsche or are there alternatives out there?

I believe the part number is 90037805501

from Porsche
Why on earth would you pay £12+ for 1 bolt? You need 4 so £50?, mental!

Just buy them off ebay, make sure they are 8.8 and they will be the same

Do I need to change the nut at the bottom?
it's a T55 I believe, following this video which other members have used

In the video they mention that bottom nut does not need to be replaced but trying to order from Type911, I am being told they should be replaced as as are locker nuts.
No idea what a T55 is

Its a lock nut M12 and therefor should only be used once really
so I checked over the weekend just to be double sure and it is 18mm nut. very rusty so have started to spray release spray before I attempt to change it next weekend.
This nut will be ok? Grade 10?

Sorry for confusion, I've ordered above.
M12 x 1.5mm (18mm socket required to loosen/tighten it)
