I would like to get a small area of paint bubbling seen to by the rear wheel arch. This is covered under the cars 10 year paintwork warranty and authorised for repair, but Ive declined as Porsche Bodyshop in Bradford want to do the whole rear panel, including removing the side window and blending in the door and boot, which seems excessive for a 1cm.sq. bit of corrosion. To be expected if someone else is picking up the tab I guess.

Any recommendations for a garage not too far from Leeds who can do the job sensibly but who can be trusted to do it 100% right ?

You're probably confusing paint and lacquer
I assume the patch is in front of the rear wheel arch
I would expect localised paint to the corrosion area and the paint to blend into the old and the whole panel to be lacquered
no need to touch the door
taking out the window may not be necessary depending upon the skill of the painter but is not the cheapest way to do the job
If Porsche are paying I'd let them do the job just speak to them and ask them not to go into the door as they have plenty of room to blend

The Estimate says;

Strip & Refit
N/S Rear Wing Panel
R & R 1/4 Glass
R & R Sill Cover
R & R Rear Lamp
R & R Bumper Cover
Repair N/S Rear Wing (Blister Above Sill Cover )
Paint N/S Rear Wing Panel
Denib/Polish

I subsequently clarified the extent of painting proposed with the Bodyshop.

Best guy in leeds is Richard down at rising sun motors, just next to the bridge at Copley Hill off Armley Road. Looks a bit back street but he does a great job. In all these situations it's down to the skill of the person and Richard/Tramitch know how to do it right. I've seen them correct brand new cars from the dealer. He even did a Ferrari that some Asian lads hired and pranged! They called the garage as they saw it on the tracker and still couldn't see where it was repaired when the car was took back.
