I am now getting seriously fed up with not having my car. I need a fix. 6 weeks since she went in and sunny Saturdays like today are very frustrating in a Shogun. I have just been into town and seen a lovely silver GT3...so I have now come home in a sulk.

Rant over. Thanks for listening.

Feel for you Philip. How long til she's back? Just think how good she will look tho'. Its been great here but I've stayed in all day waiting for a courier to deliver my new headlight lenses. Nowhere near as bad as 6 weeks, still I have got the car looking pretty clean in the meantime.

Well it should have been this weekend I got it back but he called to say it wasnt ready and it would be next week. Not sure which day but unless I take a day off it will have to be Friday PM. It should look good-as mentioned before its had the prper job-all glass out etc and sunroof. Cant wait.

Bet you its persisting down when I can collect it!

Have to say OPCs (and some specialists) do annoy me in that they assume that everyone who has a Porsche has a gazillion other cars that they can drive when it's in dock, and that it really doesn't matter to the customer how long they keep it before they get around to fixing it all.

Several times I've phoned just before going to collect it as arranged, only to be told it's not finished yet "we need to keep it another couple of days"! grrrrr....

OK, I do have another car, but like you it's a 4X4, and in my case I can't use it when I'm working for Land Rover - as it's an Isuzu!!!!

I've found that holding a loan car hostage usually get the job done quicker...

Cant even do that as they wouldnt give me a loan car due to me refusing their "approved" bodyshop-and taking it to someone who I hope will be better! Not too worried-will be this week.

That's a bit naughty - it will be better taking it to a well respected bodyshop.
