Hi

can someone please inform me what the best ipod integration for my car is. cheers

Jim

I have the solisto, it replaces the cd changer.
check out http://www.solisto.de/en/frontpage

It charges my iphone and plays audio through the PCM 1 utilizing the CD button. I have also bought a brodit mount to replace the PCM hand phone (even the same holes can be used)

installing takes about 1 hour and is quite easy.

How easy is it to remove the pcm unit? I've recently bought the cable but I've not had chance to fit it yet. My plan is to put it in the glove box for ease of access.

Hi,

I had the same issue, either to add a unit, or replace the whole thing.

replacing the whole unit was better for me, and probably cheaper.

Now i have a much better satnav, bluetooth and mp3/dvd support.

the unit i went for was the pioneer 930bt got it off ebay for around 350 delivered.

wiring and fascia cost me another £60 from dynamic sounds.

here's a picture of my unit installed:

hope this helps
