Porsche has released a new promotional video that highlights their Exclusive customization program.
Described as "ultimate personalization," the in-house program dates back to the 1950's when the repair department used to handle one-off requests for engine and suspension modifications. This was eventually expanded to include interior upgrades and in 1986 Porsche became the first automaker to establish a "specialist department officially dedicated to vehiclerefinement."
Fast forward to today and Porsche Exclusive offers more than 600 options and color variations for their various models. To ensure their accessories compliment the vehicle rather than detract from it, each component is designed in collaboration with the engineers and designers that created the car in the first place. This holistic approach means the accessories are not only attractive but built to last.
