are 993TT O/E wheels "sided"

just need this cleared up on another forum i frequent

i seem to remember the 993TT's wheels being sided........in other words the right front and rear wheel although able to fit the left front and rear hubs respectively will be wrong.......from memory its to do with brake cooling??

a front wheel will fit either front side

and a rear wheel will fit either rear side

which is why when you compare side pictures the directional turbo alloys, the designs face different directions on either side

e.g

offside.. facing forward

nearside, facing back
