Has anyone heard of Jewelultra Diamondbrite? Just traded my Nissan 350 and it came with it already applied. It was quite easy to maintain (considering the car was black) - but wanted to know if anyone has tried it on a Porsche yet?

Not trying to offend any of the Zymol fans in here by the way!

Cheers

All I can say is that I often receive enquiries from people who have these "magical, no need to wash or wax your car for 100 years" products wishing to change to using Zymol....

I've also tried quite a few different types of the same sort. Beleive me, if there's a lazy way out, I'll try it. Non of them actually work the way they claim, so back to proper wax. No pain no gain...

had something like Diamondbrite (can't recall the exact name) on my Mothers's Audi A4 a few years back, sold via the Audi supplying Dealer and I can safely say is that it lasts a short while but doesn't really work unless you regularly clean your car, which kind of defeated the object, so a complete waste of money in the end... we also had problems with cleaning certain patches on the car and also found out that some certain types of bird poo still managed to get through !

now if car manufactures can coat the paintwork with a layer of Teflon during the fatory process then maybe they will be onto something (?)

Looks like I will be converting to the ways of Zymol then!

Gotta say though, Jewelultra Diamondbrite sounds more like a Disney Villain than a 'to be taken seriously detailing product'!!

Its another one of the

Would you like us to apply a polymer sealeant to your new car sir, you'll never need to wax it, sir and it'll be £199+ vat

costs us £40

takes an hour to apply,

the valeter would take 20 mins usually

but as the layer of protection is 1/4 of a mm, after 4 rotary car washes and a tight squeeze down a farm lane,

its all worn off

Porsche dealers are doing this with Autoglym lifeshine

I showed the valeter at a local OPC how to Zymol a black car,

The sales manager gave him a bolocking, as they push autoglym, remove the zymol sticker, dont do it again, he gives the orders dont use your initiative etc, dont listen to pearcey telling you how good zymol is, dont waste 2.5 hours polishing a car etc

the car was a facelift 2.7,jet black, no air con, nephrite alacantara and 16" Alloys,

They put the Zymoled car in the showroom and sold it 2 hours later to a lady
