Anyone completely removed their alarm on a track car?

Sorry to keep starting new threads, I have done some searches and nothing came up.

My alarm on my 986 is killing me, I'd happily rip it all out in a heartbeat if I could. Our in-house guru says that's not an easy option.

Does anyone know how one can rip out the alarm entirely? I'm guessing it has ramifications for the central locking and immobiliser. Obviously fully fledged road cars turned race cars, like say the Boxster Cup are not running around with their alarm systems? So it must be an option...

Failing that, I have unplugged the alarm siren that is next to the battery, so the bl00dy alarm is now quieter. Is it possible to remove the other one as well?

Any help welcomed, thanks!
