Thanks Sarbs!

1997 - C2 Tiptronic S with 30,000 miles

The 'Turbo' alloys were reconditioned by Porsche about 3 weeks ago.

I'm looking into the white repeaters lenses at the mo, I think that the orange ones spoil the car.

They look white anyway

Average of 5k miles a year, doesnt get much better that! The orange side lenses do annoy me when they clash with the body colour, glad you think the same way! Thats my favorite colour combination on the 993 Met Blue (iris??) with grey leather, its flawless, how long did you search for it?

About 2 weeks (Midnight blue).

I was a bit sceptical about the tiptronic box, especially as its only a 4 speed, but in the few weeks that I've had the car I've been well impressed with it!

I bought it from Porsche in Belfast (the plate above has now been changed to my own one), and I reckon that it was about 3-5K cheaper than a mainland OPC car. They even paid for my ferry crossing back and gave me a full tank of petrol :D

The car is very clean, sport seats, computer etc, but it does have a small tear in the roof lining near the sunroof. A mate of mine is friends with a guy that does a lot of interior re-furbs for Porsche UK, and he's making a new head-lining for me in leather.

All in all, I'm well chuffed with it!

If you are interested I have a spare set of new clear oval side repeaters from my old 993.

I'll be at BROOKLANDS on the 15-02-03 - £10.00 or first come first serve.

Very nice James!

I was trying to get a 993 in dark blue initially - my favourite colour on that model. Think its midnight rather than iris though.

Dunc
