My local independent and his contact in an OPC are stumped by an airbag fault with my 2002 996 Turbo Coupe Tip.
The airbag light comes on with the ignition, can be cleared, but then comes back with the next ignition cycle.
The reader is giving the code 67 "Only for Development" which neither my independent or the OPC tech have seen before and apparently isn't in the workshop manual.
Has anyone come across this fault and/or code before?
For background, the car hasn't had any swaps in seatbelts or seats recently, neither has it been in a crash during my ownership of 3 years. It has been sat for about 6 weeks without much driving though, so I suspect the battery may be low.
We've tried using other airbag ECUs from breakers yards, but they come up with different faults, so I'm guessing they need to be coded to the car?
