Hi everyone
I have agreed value on my 996 turbo and I need to get someone to look at its condition and sign the document for the Insurance company to say its value is what I have it insured for. My question is who do people use to do a valuation? I’ve already spoken with Porsche and they didn’t fill me with confidence with their answer.
Thanks

dont PCGB offer this to members?

I've just renewed my Agreed Value Policy with Classic Line and for £28 they did it 'in-house' from half-a-dozen recent photos.

iirc Valuations from TIPEC and PCGB would have been acceptable but you'd have to be a member of either to get them to do it.

ah of course - i send in pics for my merc valuation to insurers - i forgot that!

I forgot to mention my insurers want the copy signing and photos as well. They won’t just accept the photos on their own

I would try the Porsche Club of Aus. I chat with a guy in Syd who imported an aircooled targa which is the same as mine, and had to kick off to get the right valuation. From memory, he was with Shannons

We used to live in Melbourne but are now in sunny Lancashire. Thanks for the reply and you’re spot on with the Shannon’s recommendation

I thought I saw a pic with Aussie plates.....my bad. Jasmine Porshalink did my valuation for Locktons.

Thanks for the recommendation . You have probably seen a photo I’ve posted of my cars in Melbourne

If you’re a TIPEC member, they offer this service as I used it when I first bought my 996 turbo.
