997 turbo boost issues ( maybe )

While I'm here can I ask your guys opinions on exhaust swap and whether decat would be too loud or doesn't it work that way with these cars

Managed to source some BW BRV so gonna give them a try see if there's any change fingers crossed :thumb:

New BRV's going in next week then off to Rick as soon as possible for a looking at , how much are the OEM actuators might give her a new pair if there not too silly

I have a 997 turbo gen 1
The issue I have is low boost only 0.3-0.4 maximum upon checking electronic actuator rods for sticking/seized it revealed bank 1 cylinder 1-3 was moving freely also bank 2 cylinder 4-6 also moving freely both by hand only.
But upon switch on and off of ignition only bank 2 cylinder 4-6 would do the full sweep movement of rod as it is supposed to do. Bank 1 cylinder 1-3 no movement at all of actuator rod as is supposed to happen when switching ignition on and off. But full movement of both actuator rods when moved manually by hand so neither seized. This makes me assume that the electronic actuator itself must be broken ?? ?? Be grateful for any advice on this. Thank you.

Rule out a physical leak from the system now you know the actuator rods aren’t stuck or disconnected.
