I have just bought a 2010 Targa 4s. It has the PDK box with the sports chrono package plus. I love the car and its plenty quick enough for me. Only 1 thing I am missing is the sports Exhaust... (OR the sound of one), any other options top get that sound that wont void the Porsche warranty??
If not where is the cheapest place to get an official one retro fitted?

Any help would be really appreciatted.

Paul

Hi Paul

OPC can retrofit nearly any extra, including PSE which will not void your warranty. I think its costs around 2K.

Congratulations on your new motor and please post some pictures when you can.

No non-OEM options will not void warranty.

So PSE only.

PSE on a gen2 car is definitely worth it, stops the DFI lump sounding like a sewing machine and is how the car should sound.

Exactly. In marked contrast to Gen 1 it is a MUST here.

I love mine

Anyone know if they can retro fit rear parking sensors? Ta

997.2 PSE

Paul, I have a PSE on order for my 997.2. It looks like no one holds any stock and the OPC have said it will be mid-July. Price wise, I traded the OPCs against each other (about 10-12) and the best price I achieved was £2000 fitted (including VAT).

Hi Paul - Whilst mine has the sports exhaust, the dealers did memtion (part of their sales pitch) that it costs a couple of grand to get the sports exhaust on it.... I have to say i like your car being a 997 targa 4s and the sports exhaust will make it absolutely perfect in my opinion :thumb: go for it.
