Hi
I am a new member
I am changing my M3 for a 997.2 C2S (non PASM)
I am concerned that the front end of the 997 will hit the deck when going up my sloping drive out of the garage
Car is coming soon!
The M3 has a low front end but the overhang is shorter than the 997. The front spoiler height is slightly better on the 997. The drive was previously altered so that the M3 could be reversed in and driven out without fouling. There is a little spare clearance under the front of the M3 but not much

I have been to my local dealership to measure and compare
It will be close . I can't try out the actual car I am buying in my garage as it is coming from up north and I live in South Bucks

Anyone have any comparative experience of this with these cars please ?
It won't be impossible to alter our drive but I'd obviously rather not! :)

Hopefully a 911uk member from near you will be able to help out by driving their 997 up and down your driveway......? I would have assisted (I live in Nth Herts) but I am currently away. A non-PASM C2S means you have the X74 (?) sports suspension fitted which is a -20mm drop over the standard car. This is going to be low.....

IMHO- a non aerokit 997 has reasonably good clearance . My driveway has a steep angle with the road, does not scrape!

Splitters are not expensive anyway.
Good luck :thumb:

I will just have to try it on the day:)
Albeit with lots of eyes front and rear as it goes in
The driveway guys are really good- they have adjusted it twice before !
It won't take much if at all I reckon and would be a good idea anyway on case a Turbo or GT3 were ever to materialise
Cant tell you how excited I am over this car coming. But it's not sad- it's good - life's too short!!
All best

It just fitted, but I had the slope reduced anyway
God this thing is so much better than the M3 :)
