Hey guys, I am a 911 newbie and am LOVING IT! :D I was granted permission a couple of months ago by my Chief Financial Officer (wife), to go get my dream car and man am I happy!

I am looking for a little help / advice, I have had the car (997.1 c2s) for just over a month and noticed the other day that the exhaust tips on the driver side are sitting proud and to one side vs. the left side. attached are two pictures (apologies for the quality and dirt). I didn't notice when I looked over the car if this was the case, the car had an 111 inspection from porsche and came back all good and we slapped on an OP warranty.

My question is (I should really just under the car) are the tip's just bolted on, is this something I could try and fix myself?

any advise would be welcome!

Yes, I believe they are just bolted on. Loosen the nuts using some WD40 first, scrape away any corrosion, cover the tail pipes with a cloth and then hammer them gently inwards so you get some uniformity.

I'd recommend plusgas and a rubber mallet rather than wd40 and a hammer

But yes that

again, many thanks.

I dont really like these tips, I take it changing them to a set of nice aftermarket ones would void my warranty?

Anything non- Porsche will void your warranty.
