Thinking of buying some wheel spacers for my standard 996 Turbo.
I would like to know what is the general feeling about this mod?
I am looking to further increase the look and possibly better handling.
Any pictures, and advice on the size for the front and back would be appreciated. :?:

I have spacers fitted to the rear of my turbo to accommodate the gt3 wheels.I traced the previous owners and found out that it has done more of its 64,000 miles on these than the original wheels without problems as far as I know.

Thank you for your reply.
What I am really after is pictures and info from someone who has a 996 with standard wheels and stock size tyres with spacers.

I've got some 5mm spacers I put on the front of my car they completely ruined the car. Yours for a fiver :thumb:

Hi,

15mm rear, 7mm on the front on standard wheels fills the arches nicely.

We do the RSS ones which come with all the bolts (correct length etc).

The car pictured has 15mm rear and 7mm on the front.

You can also do 5mm front and rear, which is the GT3 kit you can buy from Porsche, so we can supply them as RSS.

All in stock.

You will need a geometry afterwards.

Ken

Hi. I have a c4s with hollow spoke turbo alloys. I bought a set of eibach 7mm front and was either 15/17 rears. I have contis all round and found the rear tyres stuck out slightly further than the arches (which is a look I don,t like) so I replaced the rear spacers with 7mm the same as the front. This is a better look IMHO and the proportion of track from from front to rear stays same a stock.

I have 7mm RSS fronts only, as recommended by Center Gravity, to get some more front end bite.

I'm very happy with my set up now. Will take some photos when I get a minute.

Did you find that a geometry was required...?

Just about to ask the same. Can't see why you would.......
