996 turbo - cooling fans

hello, i have noted that of recently after a long drives and lots of heat in the engine bay, the standstil cooling fans do not come on when car is parked up, any help on this??

They will come on, ignition on or off, locked or not.

There is one fan for the engine bay, in the engine lid.
In the summer, this runs on mine every time I stop. It will come on about 30 secs after I stop, then run for 2-3 mins, then stop, then start again after a minute or so, and can repeat 2 or 3 times.
But in the current cooler weather it does not come on much.
When it is frosty I don't think I have ever heard it come on.

If you are sure they should be coming on, then I would check the wiring to see if a connection has some loose, or else check the fuse.

The fans at the front go off with the ignition. The main one is on the front left for the air con.
