I suppose it's £2k under priced bearing in mind the mileage and provenance of the seller - Camtune have a couple with 30k miles at £38k - There are a few more at £35k.

My old 2002 Meridian one is still up for £36k. 36000 milles, fully switchable PSE,PSM, wheels just refurbed etc

I really like the 996 Targa... especially in dark metallics... a brilliant all-round 996.

I met up with Seagull last week and there was a slight sentimental pang when I saw his Targa. Although I didn't often have the roof back on mine I always had the blind back and it was a lovely place to be.

Hi Dave,

Yes I know about the car. Actually went to have a look at it and was impressed. Loved the sports exhaust option.

JamieG told me it was yours and has given me some finance quotes, but the dealer never got back to me about a trade-in price on my 930cab so I didn't take it any further.

Anyway, having had a chat with a few other traders, I decided that it would be better to sell Toy privately so had Mr G round last week to detail the car.

Now in a dilema whether to sell it at all. Can't even take it out as it looks so good .... and will certainly have to wait for the bits and pieces G is sending to keep the car pristine.

I know what you mean, the airy feel the Targa is one of it's many strong points

Anthony

I loved that sports exhaust also but I am not so sure my neighbours did. Even though it was fully switchable I never found myself pressing the quiet button. Also despite the mickey taking on this forum I thought the colour was special.

Best of luck with selling Toy but do understand your dilema after G's touch.

In the meantime if you have any questions regarding my Targa feel free to PM me.
