Thanks so much for the advice. I'm getting why it's important now. Just checked and the total depth is around 69.5mm and the contact face thickness is 6.a bit. So all within 0.1 or 0.2mm of the Brembo spec. Only the weight seems significantly different. Think I'll take the plunge if i can get a sale or return on a pair from someone. Will report back as it's about a £650-700 saving on Porsche. I can make up the 2kg weight gain by losing some fat.Ps as someone above said are the 350mm discs from the mk2 GT3 available aftermarket? If so getting those and some 10mm caliper spacers may be an alternate way forward. Changing the 330mm discs on the 996t to the 350mm from the 997t with 10mm spacers is a popular conversion so 10mm caliper spacers should be readily available!
