996 Carrera Convertible rear window

Did anybody try to update the 996 convertible plastic rear window with the glass one that fits the current 996 cabrio?

I dubt that the new model glass windows fits in the 2001 996 roof and mechanism but I really do not like to have such piece of plastic in my car.
