Thanks - can anyone advise how much it costs to replace them?

parts over here are main dealer only...

£175 + vat for a standard

£185 + vat for an RS version (slightly thicker rubber and better)

You can get them from good ol' Gert cheaper I dare say...

Standard price is, as I understand it £320 per pair plus Vicious Added Tax. Plus fitting.

Ruf in Germany will replace the
tracking arms, the steering rods and reset tracking etc for 1800 Euros - 300 euros more for rs tracking arms and steering rods - seem reasonable?

I've noticed that some people upgrade to the RS wishbones. Is this worth considering when they need doing ayway? Waht about the additional cost? How much? Cheers, Bob.

The RS wishbones are only a few quids more than the standard ones. You won't feel a great deal of difference on it's own, but if you're thinking of up-grading the rest of the suspension anyway, then it's worth doing while you're there.

£400 parts (and they are dealer only supplied!) and £200 labour = £600

I fitted mine myself last year while replacing the dampers. Took about 30 - 45 mins per side to do (assuming no seized bolts). Alignment required afterwards.

RS wishbones were about a tenner more than standard ones IIRC.

So a specialsit will charge approx 2 hours labour - say £100 - 150. Alignment £160 - 250 (range - depends on who you use).
