Just bought two new tyres for the old girl - rear's. Managed to get Pirelli P Zero, 255/40 ZR17, N3 rated, for £144 each incl VAT, fitting, valve and balancing. Just wondered how that compared? Worst quote I got was £245 each from a national chain, and I only wanted P-Zero's, and nothing else! These were Guildford, Surrey, so if anyone has any input, always welcome...

Original supply 993 Continental 17" rears at £104 + VAT here in sunny Yorkshire --- but I REALLY searched and hit hard.

AND--------------- how do Porsche specialists justify £150 ish for 993 front brake discs for which they pay £44+VAT. "Zimmermans"

Anybody in doubt ring "Swedish German and French", branches everwhere and check it out. Labour??????????????? wheels off and four bolts!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I recently bought a pair of new contis for my turbo (265/35/18) for £160 incl. VAT, fitting and balancing and that was from KwikFit. They initially quoted £185 but I said I could get it cheaper and matched it.
