993 Steering prob- advice pls?

On full lock at parking speeds on many surfaces, my 993 feels like it is understeering, together with a rhythmic pulse through the steering. I can't decide whether the wheels are actually slipping, or if they feel like they are. Most odd.

Geometry recently checked, spot on. Tyres look ok, if long in the tooth... car has done 37k miles and is in rude health otherwise.

Also sometimes get a resonance through the steering wheel when applying lock at parking speeds. I wonder if the two are related?

Any ideas?

its been so cold last week

was it icy where this happened,

or steering rack, check for power steering fluid in the rack gaitors if theres no drips on the drive
