Hi Guys,
Having just picked up the 993 last Friday, something that I noticed on the car was the brakes feeling like they had a film on them, rather like how brakes feel after you've washed the car and their is a small amount of rust.
I've spoken to a guy at work who have owned a number of Porsches and he said that its because the brakes of the 993 are heavy duty and designed for the track. If they don't get regular action (heavy braking) a light film gets onto the disk. Apparantly it is very easy for a dealer / specialist to remove through some kind of scraping technique - Has anyone heard of this??????
Thanks - James
