Just came across this while surfing the net.

Actually its pretty painful to watch. The guy from auto trader should stick to radio.

Nice plug from Dove House on the popularity of Red given they have one in stock at the moment.

Nice video.

But....

...the DH guy should have sorted that bonnet shut line before allowing it to be filmed - what was he thinking!!!! :nooo:

Also, unless I am mistaken, the centre cap on the right rear wheel at 1:20 is not pointing at the air valve. :x Come on, this is basic stuff.

Surprisingly informative and reasonably well researched.

I enjoyed that :thumb:

The best place to look is well known Porsche specialists " like ourselves" lol no ***** Sherlock

"The annual running costs are roughly the same as a 3 series BMW" :floor:

The 111 point check obviously didn't pick up on the fact the rubber protector from the drivers light switch in the door jamb was missing.

Rumour has it he grew a beard specially to present that :dont know:

Well, as a noob with 993 as a possible option I watched this from a sense of duty but honestly my eyes are bleeding, my logic sensors have tripped and I am extremely reluctant to go looking for any further Auto Trader guides featuring Jeremy Clarkson's likely successor. :pc: :pc:

31mpg! Mine must be very broken as i rarely crack 25 on a run :what:

It is also the last where the mainstream were all dry-sumped cars, erm, whereas they obviously all went on to water-cooled with the 996.

Say what? :what:

Dry-sumped is having an external oil reservoir (as seen on the 996/997/991 GT3 and the 996/997.1 Turbo derivs), water-cooled is, erm, having a intermediate water circuit to cool your oil from air, instead of directly via an oil/air heat-exchanger.

I lost interest after that.
