991 Turbo / Turbo S - Aftermarket Wheel Thread

Hey all. Looking to see pictures of anyone with aftermarket wheels, along with the spec, particularly width and offset.

I have the OEM centre locks on my 991.2 Turbo S. I'd like a more aggressive offset, particularly at the front. So thinking aftermarket wheels, just need to determine the right offsets.

And of course, would be cool to see some more pictures of 991 Turbo's :)

Thanks in advance

for reference, what does your 9911 Turbo S look like ?

We have these BBS F1 R for 991 turbo s or 991 GT3 fitment. PM me if interested. Front tyres P4S in excellent condition but needs rear tyres. Colour is special order satin bronze.

Only selling as we run the Exclusive Carbon Wheels on SWMBOs turbo s and no space in garage. Other than one stone chip on front wheel in perfect condition. too small to repair tbh and not noticeable. Not sure re offests etc but these are specifically for 991 turbo s fitment from BBS. Offsets for 991 GT3 narrowbody and 991.2 turbo s interchangeable which is counter intuitive but correct.

SWMBO's turbo s isn’t lowered as roads so crap in UK nowadays they’d look much better lowered. Lightest alloy out there for 991.

Being a BBS geek, the model is BBS FI-R (Not F1), stands for Forged Individual ,rather lovely wheels - i'd be interested myself if i hadn't just purchased a set of similar wheels.

Do you know if these are the same width and offset as the OEM wheels? I ask as I'm specifically looking for a wheel with a more aggressive offset, particularly at the front where to my eyes, the wheel sits too far inside the arch. Don't want to go silly, just want it more even front to back and a touch more aggressive overall.

Do you have any pictures with these fitted that clearly shows how far the wheels sit inwards at the front?

You can fit 265 and 325 tyres no probs to these BBS F1 - R that defo get you a bit more of the look you're after but these are specifically for 991 turbo s or 991 GT3 OEM like fitment. For what you're looking for specifically on OEM size tyres which are 245 front and 305 rears you'd want our turbos/GT3 rear BBS F1 - R and 991 GT3 RS front BBS F1 - R which have that more aggressive offset at the front you're looking for. I'll see if I can find pics with both 245/305 on ours and 265 / 325 with same BBS F1 - R.

Not sure if these help tbh.

So these are BBS F1-R 20 x 9 et 52 CL front and 20 x 11.5 et 54 CL rear on OEM 245 and 305 tyres.

They do look better than the OEM wheels at front and as I said earlier if you fit 265/35/ZR 20 front and 325/30/ZR 20 and lower it does sort the stance of the car but it’s still not completely perfect at front like say a GT3 RS or GT2 RS in my view.

As mentioned you can also fit BBS F 1 - R for GT3 RS fitment at front with turbo/GT3 rears an you will occasionally get a tiny bit of rubbing at full lock on front but nothing to worry about. See link below it’s a 9.5 x 20 ET 50 at front and you can’t use the 21 inch rears you’d ruin the awd system hence the mix and match solution.

Feel free to PM if you have any more questions ;)

991.2 Turbo S stock alloy offsets so barely any difference. You can run those larger size tyres on your stock rims too I think they look good in weiss gold.

Take a look at braid wheels, they make some lovely wheels for 911's. Easiest way to determine your ideal offset would literally be to measure the gap that you are trying to fill and then lower the ET number of your existing wheels by that many mm's.

Braid will make you some wheels with custom offsets.
