Hi all

What is the best phone holder for the 991.1

Obvs the factory sat nav is useless so I'm always trying to balance the phone on the fan button ..!!

Resurrecting this. I bought a 991.1 and the PCM is good for Bluetooth streaming and calls, but the nav function is too ancient.

I looked at the above suggestion and I am not won over by either.

Any other ideas? I don't want to drill holes, dismantle the car.

Thanks

I've got a cheap one that clips into an air vent, but I don't like it as the vent strakes aren't strong enough to hold a phone properly and it sags down over time (and a couple of bumps). I had a NiteIze Steelie but there's no good place to attach the steel ball in my 997.

I'll probably have to bite the bullet and invest in a Quadlock (which would work on the rest of my fleet, bike, boat etc.).

I have this one in my 991. I find the magnetic ones don't hold the phone in cars with a firm suspension and the phone bounces off. The one I've linked to, I have on my windscreen and you could hang a filing cabinet off it, it's very secure. Can also angle it - inwards/outwards/up/down etc to get it in a decent position. I have it on the extreme right of my windscreen and it works very well. I never drive without Waze running. Officer. :)

it does look very good
