I have a job to do on a mates 987 Cayman, the header tank has split on the seam and we need to replace it.
He has had a go but so far can't get anywhere near the bolt that holds the header tank to the side bulkhead. It looks like the injector rail and possibly the inlet manifold is in the way and may need removing. I would rather not and wondered if there was an easier way?
I have been trying to help him on video call but he can't get much further and I expect I'll and up doing it when I am free next, so I wanted gather any info on this in advance of having a go?
