I'm in the process of prepping my black 964T for sale so researching figures.. but this seems like 3.6 money? Thoughts? I guess it is low mileage but still...

cheers

That is big money, but it's low-ish miles and 964Ts have doubled in the past 12-18mths (even the 3.3 cars) and gmund cars always tend to be the most expensive on sale (maybe they are awesome condition?). There was another 3.3 on pheads with 70k miles which was listed as deposit taken at £55k.

I would suggest you get a valuation done - I have just used a guy called John Glynn for an Insurance valuation, pm me if you want his details.

Obviously it all comes down to condition, but if yours is in great nick with low-ish miles then a £55k starting price is the right ballpark. Pat yourself on the back for buying a car that appreciates.

I've just had a new valuation on my 3.3t at the request of my Insurance company as it was last done 3 years ago. There arn't many UK cars for sale to compare to, but the findings by my local specialist were that the replacement cost (if I could find a similar one) would be £50k+

The having passed on the information to my Insurance company, they quickly increased my premium accordingly suprise suprise!

thanks guys,

i was aware the price was on the up since i bought her in 2008 but that looked like an error in the ad to be honest!

Mines quite high miles at 103k but this year she's had engine rebuild (including turbo rebuild), all areas of rust like scuttles and wings have been done and wheels refurbed, new rear lenses, new headlight surrounds and the AC system fully replaced plus some other bits. bla bla bla.

She's still not concourse if you look hard but by no means a dog.

Ok, i'll see if i can get a proper valuation as the numbers above are pretty serious to a pikey like me!

thanks again
