Doesn`t look like many people are taking their cayennes apart Nigel, I`m looking to remove numbers 8 & 9 to paint and not sure if these just pull off or i need to get the bumper off.

I'm afraid i haven't answered as i dont have instructions for this job .

Off hand i'm pretty sure you need to remove the bumper to get at the inside fixings to release this part but i'm not sure to be honest ..

Remove and refit a bumper is about 1 hr on these .. a lot of screws but pretty obvious .. arch liners need pulling back not removing .

As for 8/9 .. i'm not sure which part of the bumper these are .. got a picture ?

Ian,

8 & 9 are the two white trim pieces below the DRL, it seems they are held on with push in clips and are hard to remove with the bumper in place was the feedback I got from rennlist

Nigel,

apologies for the thread hijack have you tried posting on rennlist someone must have changed the spoiler out over the pond.

https://rennlist.com/forums/cayenne-958-2011-2018-242/

I tried to pull these blades off last night but they are very tight picture shows the tabs think the bumper will need to be pulled to push the tabs out.

That type of tab is a bit of a nightmare .. you really need to get at the inside to release them , you push the locking part down .. just pulling and they will break .

All models of Porsche use this type of tab .. hence i know they are a pain .. sigh .
