944 turbo

It does look a minter and the perfect base car for a restoration ima...it aint my money or decision but could be a beautiful concours stock 944...a lovely thing...

...good luck buddy

911 Virgin felt this 944 should be returned and McMillan Porsche true to their word kindly provided a refund less transport costs of £750 plus VAT. The turbo had still not been picked up from 911 Virgin all these months later mind.

Many thanks to Tom for his patience. My record buying Porsches down the phone not good. Bought 3 and returned 3. I now see there is an ultra low miles 944 turbo at Tom Hartley. However I will not be buying a Porsche down the phone again (unless from 911 Virgin).

That's a sad end to the story, but a sensible decision. Would have been easy to follow your heart with this project and get into a money pit situation.

Fair play to the dealership, will be interesting to see how they advertise the car going forward.

Yes was excited to find a low miles pre cat 250 turbo. Hey ho the search continues for a classic not wedded to a 944. May well go for a 3.2 Carrera instead for that 80s nostalgia or maybe a 964 C2 again.

I'm biased but the S2 is a fantastic car and still great value with performance similar to early 944 Turbos.

An S2 is a beautiful handling sportscar one of the best ever. Would not rule out at all. Finding a good 944 is the main issue. Same with 928. Love these too. Risky Business 8)
