Perhaps lightening does strike twice? Bought an OE third brake light kit off the above firm from Essex. The box had been opened and resealed by them before being sent out and (magic) it was missing all the small screws and fixings, wiring bits and adhesive.

My bodyshop says dont send it back 'cos the car is booked in on Monday and (perhaps they have heard other stories) it may be weeks before ******.911 gather all the missing bits. Previously it took 14 weeks of cajoling and letter writing to get a complete GT3 kit off them and even then they succeeded in sending non matching sills (one glued and one screwed).... My local guys will replace the missing parts thru' OPC and I want a credit from YKW. Is this wishful thinking on my part?

Anyone else had "fun" with these guys or are they just saving it up for me?

feel for you, i know what its like being messed around.

not sure of the company you mention, but I'd have said if it took you 14 weeks to get a gt3 kit, I wouldn't have used them again.

I'd steer clear from a company I wasn't 100% happy with.

Name and shame. Else how will we know to steer clear and how will they learn to give good service?

Latest is that their representative has phoned me and promised all the missing bits by close of business Saturday. If they do then I shall post confirmation.

Lee, they sent me all the big pieces but it took 14 weeks to get the missing loom and cover plate for the old third brake light on the rear scuttle which is replaced by a slender diode type light on the wing. The bodyshop (Lloyds Autobody in Liverpool) made up the missing bits for the sills and did a superb job on the paintwork. I now lookforwards to their efforts with Iris Blue!

Lojo... how many clues do you need? I'm sure there have been other threads here about this firm. I can only report as it has happened to me. There must be plenty of satisfied customers or how else could they afford
LARGE ADVERTS!
with small writing

Cheers

I am pleased to report that all bar one of the items were delivered this morning by post. The missing glue is apparently a fairly common item and the bodyshop have no problems with that.

Well done ******.911.UK
