Did anyone else watch this last night? What a pile of poo. I know that any motoring programme is better than no motoring programme, especially if the new series of Top Gear is to be delayed until the Hamster is up and about, but this was beyond excruciating. VBH? Has she been to gurning school since the last series? If so, she passed with honours. What happened to Plato? Who is the new spanner? Where is the originality in Tiff racing a plane? I though Monday nights were going to get better but apparently not!

What a disappointment! VBH was the only bit woth watching! Who's that snotty spitting kid and why is the fat clown still there? Plato, the only one who can drive is gone!! What was the "reck my ride" thing all about? If I want to watch a car being crushed I'd go to a scrap yard! Pile of poo! But again, better than nowt! and certainly better than the Pulling Power crap which I don't even bother watching.

It really was pretty poor!

That rave bit really was a tenuous link to motoring, the car wasn't mentioned after the first 5 seconds.

Car vs Plane, seen it before.

Self driving golf would have been more impressive if the car didn't have to learn the track first. That bit was very clever, but would be really impressive to see it driving on a real road and avoiding approptriate obstacles, etc.

Thought the new spiv was a little wooden, and the chap with the merc???

I have never liked the programme as have always compared it to Top Gear - no competition. Let's hope that 5th gear isn't the only option. I saw in the paper yesterday that TG new series has been postponed indefineatly.

There is a gap on mainstream telly for a true motoring show, as in a show that looks and compares new & use cars in a professional manner.

Surprised that ITV dont do it, would be a winner, provided it had a good cross section of cars.

5th gear used to be a "proper" car show as TG used to be, but now they're trying to copy the new TG format and trying to be an entertainment show rather than car show, failing myserably!

Bit harsh Mick. Even Ayrton Senna used to praise Tiff's car control.

Oops, forgot Tiff and VBH. What I meant was the only one who's actively involved in racing.

5th Gear really does suck badly.

I noticed it was a new series but purposely missed it after reading in the paper the crap they were gonna show!

It really is a pile of stinkin poo!!!

That's what I thought - even when this series they have upped the number of fit girls to 3!

Never considered Vroom Vroom as a motoring show. Only watched it once for about 10 mins. I normally watch any crap old motoring programs good or bad, including 5th gear and pulling power (although spending most of the time fast forwarding) but vv is just so crap that words can't describe!
