Oh my god, I cannot believe my luck, had the 4s dropped of earlier till monday, was told it was going to be seal grey, but it's actually meridian, the colour I have ordered!!! The car is well spec'd with PCM, Xenons, bose sound, gold porsche wheel centres (which dont look as good as the standard 4s wheel centres), parking sensors and porsche crest in headrest.
Went for a drive followed by my mate who has a 2 month old 996 carrera 2. We took a good long route through the peak district out to a place called 'Whalley bridge' (Not named after me), where you get to drive along the best long sweeping roads i've come accross, the roads wind down the side of a mountain (big hills really, but bare with me!) I had already by this time scared myself silly and was wishing that the seats were natural brown leather intead of black, but I continued thundering into each bend, carefree. This is where the car (nicknamed already as J-LO due to her gorgeous massive arse) stole the show, we left my friend in his carrera 2 tiptronic for dust, he is probably a better driver than me, and already well aquainted with his car while im still not fully sure of J-LO, but the speed that you enter corners in the 4s is nothing short of ridiculous, some corners you just dont need to brake for, just back of a little then hammer away. my mate told me when we returned that he was going flat out, but wasn't able to put the power down anywhere near where I was, good old 4wd and all the gizmo's that J-LO brings with her! I did find understeer foot down in second coming out of tighter bends, but the roads were quite slippy and later on at home i noticed the tyres were not overly blessed with rubber.
The drive back home is slow due to unthoughtful traffic on twisty roads, but by now im already smitten and thinking of ways to sell up home before monday comes when I have to give J-LO back. Once home the day takes a crazy twist, J-LO is a demo, not mine, never gonna be mine, but yet I find myself washing her in light drizzle!
I took the oppotunity to take a few snaps which I shall post shortly. The only thing im a little worried about is J-LO's arse, she is so damn wide!
Thanks for reading my first afternoon with a super model!
