Hello,
I ve been in the search for an SUV for the last 5-6 months. I had in sight a 957 CTT with around 45k miles for a bit under 20k euros, but i decided against it (because of the mpg) and the reliability in using a 13year car as the family car. I think that was a mistake though
Now i am considering for a similar price a 2011 958 diesel with 110k miles. I believe that's a lot, but seems that the diesels do not have a of of issues? What should I look for? I believe with such a high mileage car, a lot of suspension components will need changing. The overall condition is looking fine, but of course i will take it for a PPI if we reach in a deal. I would prefer a 958.2 but is over 15k euros of difference for a 50k miles car.
I had also seen, driven and almost made a deal, on an Audi A6 avant of 2017, S-Line black edition Ultra, with 30k miles, for 23k euros, which i sense was a good deal, but my wife insists on an SUV.
We just had our baby boy delivered, and she thinks an SUV is a better fit for loading/unloading the baby seat etc. and that we might visit the Snowy mountain and need it. We are located in Cyprus, so as you guess that is a trip that may happen once or twice per year.
At least this Coronovirus, gives me a lot of time to think and not go buy something irrationally. Even though i started getting crazy of watching the prices. Seems they still to be affected by it.
