Hi, I'm looking at replacing the expansion tank on my C4 2001 but not that sure on which one I need. The part number on the tank is 996.106.057.01. I can't seem to find this part using the number.
Can any of you knowledgeable people out there point me in the right direction?
Thanks in advance

Hi, and thanks for your reply was it a straight forward swap? If you don't mind me asking where did you buy it from and what price did you pay?
Thanks in advance

Apparently it's a real pain in the arse to fit as you need to lower the engine to get the old one out. I've not seen the invoice from the garage yet as I had the expansion tank replaced along with a load of other work, but I've seen prices range from £90 > £400.

Hi just contacted my local OPC, gave them my VIN number and was quoted £110.00 delivered, the part number was 996.106.157.04 not what you had fitted. It's a mind field. I thought it would have been the same as yours.

I paid my indy to fit mine and had the water pump dhone at the same time
