Thats a shame because they are such a sweet drive on injection.
Probably worth searching out the parts to put it back to standard.

I wouldnt know where to start, it was running fine having just been on a 150 mile round trip to the west coast ramble and then dropped off at the shipping agents last Friday.

8) another 9fourteen joins the ranks :thumb:
If you want to return to the original fuel injection, Angus at Greatworth Classics would be my first call.
Welcome along and in the 50th year celebrations as well, good timing!

If you need any help with anything just post up or PM me. I do have quite extensive knowledge of these little gems

Thanks Chief :thumb:

Fantastic :p :p :p :p :p :p :p
You must be soooooo excited!
What are you plans?

its partially dismantled with just enough installed for it to run, turn, stop etc...
The car was rammed with all the parts that have been removed so figuring out whats what is first
It needs completely stripping for prep and repaint, retrim etc.....

Any fellow 914 owners in the region?
It would help if I saw a complete car

Not for any reason beyond idle curiosity, but roughly how much does it cost to ship a car from the US these days?

The shipping cost was $1200, there is a payment to unload at this end of £380
There is a cost to move the car from the owner to the shipping agent in the states, in my case I paid the vendor to deliver
Then there is the cost to transport from the dockside to your address, I used Shiply
Lastly there is tax to pay at 5% of purchase price
All in it cost me just over £2K
