been backroad blasting at the weekend - bumpy cheshire 'c' roads (the little white ones which dont show up on half the road maps)
18's - far more grip than 17's, tram lining evident but if anything adds to the experience when pushing on - its not that servere. You can feel the back end step out easier. Potholes are not as big a problem as anticipated.
biggest bonus - they look fantastic on a 993
only real negative is slow speed in town - suspension feels more jittery until up to speed - not exactly uncomfortable but not as good a ride as the 17's
i will hopefully get some 16's for winter - so will be able to have experienced all the combos!
