Just wondering if anyone knows if the gt3 gen1 and gen2 cars all use the same pads with the ceramics set up?

Part numbers for them are different but just incase the change in code is due to slight changes in design but not the actual fitment.

Thanks

I have a vague recollection that the actual calliper design changed subtly between Gen 1 & 2 BICBW. Something to do with the change of carrier between 5 bolt & CL ISTR.

Ahh ok cool, thanks for that :thumb:

Hows the car? You think you'll ever come up to Scotland with it?

The car is great. Awaiting a new ECU to finally finish it off & then it's done bar some minor tweaking.

Unlikely to come that far north if I'm honest. Oulton Park is about my limit.

Cool, hopefully see the car one day and get a passenger lap in it.

Have you got a new exhaust on it now?
Have you had it against a 4.0yet, if so whats the difference in speed?

I've got a modified M+M Cup exhaust on. Although it sounds really loud, it's actually around 105dB on a static test & I've not tripped the 107 driveby at Spa.

I haven't encountered a 4.0 yet but I suspect it's a bit quicker out of corners due to the wider rear track & wider tyres. I've got more torque but they have more power.
