Wow - the V5 showed up...

I finally did it, and took the plunge. After years of yearning, but having to put up with a strict company car policy, I finally bought the classic sportscar of them all - a 911.

To be precise - a '96 993 Careera 4 manual in Iris Blue with less than 35k on the clock.

The new V5 showed up today - confirming it is not a dream, and the beauty in the garage really is mine.

Thanks Ami. In the middle of giving it its first Zymol application - we'll see how that improves the looks. It is fantastic shape, particularly over the rear wheelarches. And that sound when you start it !!!

Completed the first Zymol application - wash, HD cleanse and Wax, and it looks great. Many of those small little surface scratches have gone. It just glistens.

Took it out over the weekend in the rain - and it just rolled off !!! Not only does it get it clean, it helps it stay clean - and everything seems to slip off the new smooth surface.

I'm hooked.
