Whether to add switch to retrofit sports exhaust

Hi all
Having a sports exhaust fitted at my OPC on my 2024 S model 992.1 as it only had the standard exhaust. I’m doing it mainly for the sound but resale is also part of the reason. Having a new switch added to the dash will add £500 odd to the costs and losing one of the existing switches. I’m happy with activating the exhaust via the PCM but wonder whether this will affect the car’s resale value. Any thoughts?

I think its better to add the button - then no one can query
£500 s steep and you wont get it back

adding the switch would seem fairly obvious for such a minimal cost

Is it not possible to use one of the existing driver programmable switches and use the interface to control that function instead?
Eg use the programmable button on the steering wheel for the exhaust.

Yes. I spoke to the OPC yesterday and they recommended just that. Seems like the best solution - especially as the dad switch, with labour, costs over £800.
