Took my 993 out today and had to park in a Car Park.

Cruised round looking for a nice big expanse of space so that I didn't get some t**ser parking too close. Saw a silver 993 also in a big expanse (must have had the same idea) and parked one space away from him, figured no one would park in between.

Oh how wrong can you be!

Some twat! C@nt of a Mercedes driver squeezed his big fat ar*e C320 right in between and then the d@ckhead of a passenger (lower pond life than the driver) opened his/her door onto my front drivers wing, denting it.

To say I hit the roof is an understatement.

I was going to say that all Merc drivers are complete twats, but then I realised that my company car is a Merc and my handbrake drives it. Hang on maybe I've got a point.

Just had to share my annoyance with you all,

Ahhhh I feel better already, slightly.

I hope you did the honourable thing and sliced the valves off each of his tyres?

Not quite

But he may rethink his parking strategy in future!

I take it you weren't in the car at the time!

"It would be worth him doing it, just to catch him doing it" or words to that effect.

What a bummer. Do you think the dent can be removed without re-painting?

I bloody well hate it
when other drivers park next to my cars in car parks when there are tons of other spaces available. Sorry to hear that its happened....I can guess what you did to the Merc

I know what you mean about the car park syndrome.

If you park in the middle of nowhere some one will always park next to you. Its like S**t to a blanket.

One trick I've seen is to park in the middle of two spaces staddling the lines. I know it makes it look like your parking is c**p but it does keep the other cars away.

This really gets my goat!!!

If you do ding someone's car when its parked up, at least leave a note saying sorry and with your contact details.

Something similar happened to me at Gatwick airport a few years. parked the car up for a short trip to Ireland, got back and someone had reversed ALL the way along the side of my car, every panel was knowcked on the passenger side. No witnesses, no note from a sorry driver and shock horror, the CCTV at the time wasn't working!!!!! B*stards!!

James

No I wasn't, but saw the dent straight away, even though by most peoples standards its not that big.
Might come out if I roll a socket along it! Not easy to get to though!

Pokemon,

Ditto, probably did what you would have done

rayM,

Yeah I thought that I might park at 90 degrees in two spaces, that way they only hit my bumpers.
