....at a more higher end reputable dealership and oh man did I get some interest from them to buy it/them sell it for me,guess thats a good sign or not?
Looking on autotrader there was about 100 for sale when I bought yet down to 60 today

absolutely no idea what my point is here tho:-)

edit..
Guess my point was that I hadn't properly appreciated the desirability of these cars as much as I should?

.....and it passed...??

that could have been the point of the post there - pass or fail? :ROFLMAO:

I'm surprised to be honest because cars seem to be stacking up at dealers, I've been on the Approved Porsche website this morning and there were 3-4 pages of brand new 992-2 cars for sale, most are Targas or GTS, but there is no shortage of any model and I noticed even the ST's have dropped, there is one on the approved site for £385k, which had me working out the finance deal on it to see if it suits me.

They also have a silver 50th anniversary Turbo, which definitely has me twitching and I'm glad I'm not in the UK because I have a feeling if I saw it in the flesh then it would be coming home with me.

I have a 992.1 turbo s that is 20 months old that I got 7 months ago...

I managed to get it it for under £150k even though it listed over £200k just over a year earlier when new and they were at least £15k more at most OPC's for similar spec / age / miles when I bought as I looked at a few at the time with not as much spec...

Been watching the market for a while since I bought it just out of interest, there were a few 23's around high £140k's to mid £150k's later last year...

Recently the cheapest 23 even private or non OPC is around £160k and a few more at £165k or even over £170k..

Mine has £15k more spec than the cheapest £160k one so I doubt I could replace it for what I paid currently...

Maybe guessing its because the new one is not released yet, and will no doubt be silly money with a few nice options,

And maybe they are slightly more sought after until the new ones hit the market..??

Of course no doubt as a trade in it will be £10k/15k less or even more than the current £165k retail average but they do seem to have bucked the market slightly...??

I have been contacted twice this year, including this week asking if I want to sell it from an independent dealer...

Of course I would not be saying that if I had bought new, but interesting times...

Anyway hopefully the car passed the MOT ok..?? (y)
