the last 993 to leave the "Stuttgart area" all for £1.5 MILLION !

People will still drive for fun mate. People pay a lot of money for a weeks fun in the Maldives. Or for example a decent sized yacht can easily be chartered at 600k. Purchaser of above is most likely in that league and bought for the f***s of bragging rights of the last last aircooled Porsche, probably drunk and dress in 1940s regalia. No one buys a 993 as a daily any way. Most see a couple of thousand miles a year. The driverless taxis will still be safe with someone pottering along in a manual 993, in fact the latter will probably crash less. You are thinking more like the film in time which I guess is more like 200 years in the future by which time this car will probably be in a museum, with 11,999km from new.

Surely that’s Turbo S spec? Has 450bhp and the quad pipes but no side intakes 🤷🏽‍♂️

….and no front bumper air intakes either.

so it looks like the bottom fell out of this auction - just seen that it went for $818,000....................

Has anyone seen the 993 that has surfaced in the states, it has only 4k miles from new it's on youtube, now i'm totally smitten with it one can only dream😍
